Can I have a tooth extracted and have an implant at the same time?

On incisors, canines and premolars, our implant dentists do perform extraction with immediate implant placement should conditions allow it (i.e., thick gum, bone on outside of socket intact). Sometimes this is done in conjunction with some bone restoration material. A CT scan will allow the implant dentist to ascertain this in advance.
